Leadership Development
From the Inside Out
What does it take to succeed in your world today?
Consider these questions:
  • Could you be more effective with less effort?
  • Can you consistently turn conflict and resistance into positive change?
  • Do you sometimes get in your own way?
  • How will you move yourself and your people through what lies ahead?
  • How clear are you about your life purpose?
  • Would a simpler, more balanced life enhance your effectiveness?

As you consider these questions, we invite you to join us on a Richer Road. A road that focuses on the productive potential of people. A road which honors both clear, objective thinking and the importance of engaging people’s hearts. A road which addresses the sound business reasons for integrating the “hard” and “soft” sides of life.

Bring all of who you are to everything you do
Developing the leader as human being is the hardest, most enriching and enduring work that can be done. That’s why we are committed to challenging leaders who are transforming themselves and thereby developing the leverage to transform their organizations into more productive and fulfilling profit centers.

The EDI & LDI Approach:
  • Expand the Mind
  • Stretch the Body
  • Deepen the Spirit

This is not a "sit-down-and-take-notes" kind of experience. We help you learn to use capabilities you may have not known you possessed. Sessions are designed to challenge your current way of thinking, to relax and strengthen your body, and deepen your connection to that which is most important in your life.

Who Participates in the EDI or LDI?
Both the EDI and the LDI are designed for people who are already successful, but have a strong desire to grow deeper in their personal and professional development.

The EDI is a solo (or executive plus spouse) experience.

The LDI is a group experience with up to 24 participants drawn from different organizations. Participants include senior and mid-level managers, entrepreneurs, business owners, physicians, attorneys, consultants, clergy, and other professionals looking for a way to be more effective.

The program is presented to groups of 16 to 24 men and women in a relaxed setting with a staff of experienced professionals.

Spouses and Life Partners
Spouses and life partners are specifically encouraged to participate together in the EDI and the LDI. Since the program works at levels beneath your roles in life (boss, spouse, partner) we-and our graduates-encourage you to come with your life partner. Changing old patterns and keeping them changed back home is enhanced by having your partner attend. You can become committed coaches to each other’s growth and development. Plus, it’s a great way to get to know each other-again.

Two Unique Features: Tangible Results and Follow Through
We have a strong commitment to making a significant difference in your capacity as a leader. We want the EDI or LDI to be more than a “mountain-top experience” with only short-term benefits. For that reason, we work with you to attain tangible results and we follow-through.

TANGIBLE RESULTS. This process begins as you start your program, where you clarify your goals and start a mini-research project on leadership, with yourself as the subject. Throughout the program specific skills, insights and their back home application are clarified, recorded and committed to as new practices that will benefit you and your organization.

FOLLOW THROUGH. Leadership development doesn’t just happen at the EDI and the LDI. It actually continues when you get back home and are tested in the real world. Our follow-through assistance helps you apply what you learned directly to your life and work.

Follow-through includes:

  • Regular conference calls with EDI and LDI colleagues and staff
  • Staff consultations and coaching on specific issues via telephone (available upon request)
